What we store
We store two items in your browser. One is a strictly necessary cookie, the other is a local-storage entry that records your own cookie choice. Nothing else is written.
Analytics without cookies
We measure page views on our own servers, in our own database. No cookie is set for analytics, no third-party analytics service is used, and no advertising network receives your data. We record the page path, the referring page, your browser's user-agent and language, and a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address. The hash is one-way — we cannot recover your IP address from it.
Declining analytics
If you decline analytics in the cookie banner, we stop sending page views entirely. You can change your mind at any time by clearing grv_cookie_consent from your browser's local storage, which will make the banner appear again.
Why the session cookie needs no consent
Under §165 of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested does not require consent. The grv_session cookie exists only to keep an authenticated session open, and is set only after you sign in.
Third-party content
We embed no third-party advertising, no social media widgets and no external fonts. Links to LinkedIn and other external sites are plain links — they set nothing in your browser until you follow them.
